Turnkey E&P Inc. (TKY) is a small publicly-traded company applying new Casing Drilling® technology to the oil and gas business.  TKY has four purpose built Casing Drilling® rigs that contract drill for conventional operators as well as drill for TKY’s E&P division in Texas and Louisiana where they are focusing on oil and natural gas exploitation, development and production activities.

Turnkey E&P Corporation’s business model is to create opportunity in two ways: First as a Turnkey Drilling and Completion Contractor that is charged with earning profit from drilling and completing wells for outside operators and secondly, as an Exploitation and Production Oil and Gas Company that uses Casing Drilling™ technology to access reserves located in reservoirs that have proven challenging to drill with conventional drilling methods.

Position
This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.  The Chief Financial Officer will be hands on and responsible for the overall financial activities of the company.  The CFO will be expected to build a competent group to lead the company through rapid growth from the success of applying Casing Drilling to E&P projects.

The CFO’s duties will include, but are not limited to, external and internal financial reporting, all accounting activities, cash management, bank and equity financing, budgeting and financial analysis, and internal control compliance while supervising a Controller and additional team of 4 individuals.

As a member of the executive team, this individual will play a strategic role in the direction of the Corporation’s overall financial objectives and compliance with US and Canadian regulations.  This person will also be required to regularly interface with the Company’s Board of Directors.

Candidate Requirements
Fifteen or more years of progressively responsible accounting and/or financial management experience within the oil and gas industry; previous experience as a Chief Financial Officer is not essential but recent experience in a senior financial management position with an oil and gas company is mandatory.  CPA preferred but not required.

Previous experience in a multi-discipline environment encompassing public company financial reporting and working knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act is mandatory. Prior experience with Canadian regulations is a plus but not required. 

Knowledge of capital markets and an entrepreneurial mentality is essential.

The candidate should have a strong commitment to participating in a team environment and should be motivated by the opportunity to add value in a start-up public company.  Additionally, this individual should possess well developed interpersonal and communication skills that will facilitate effective working relationships with a large variety of groups both inside and outside the company.
